The staff were really helpful, particularly the receptionist. She spoke very good English and was able to recommend some lovely restaurants. We only had breakfast on our last morning before heading to the airport but found plenty of options to eat out in Santiago, exploring the old town. We also made use of the pool (which was like a bath) and jacuzzi a couple of times, both times nobody else was here. Heavenly We're not religious but enjoyed looking at the Cathedral, buying the Tarte di Santiago from the Nuns through a whole in a wall (once we'd managed to find it, its well hidden), and the attached chapel was also well worth a visit.

Checkin was very efficient, and the staff even handled returning my car rental's return to the man collecting it, which enabled me to leave the hotel and meet my wife who was walking the Camino de Santiago's final day of the Portuguese Way. Breakfast was great, in the monks gathering hall. The building is renovated in a monastery built after St. Francis of Assisi visited the Pilgrimage site, and it is about 250 meters from Santiago Cathedral in a quiet area. There was a wedding in the church attached, very nice facilities with long history.

This fantastic monumental building is located only a short walk away from the cathedral and the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers luxurious rooms, elevators, private parking, a restaurant and a swimming pool. The breakfast buffet offers everything you need to get your day started, enough coffee too :D Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Santiago. We didn’t know much about the building before we arrived and were delighted to discover its history. Made it an even more special place to stay in the centre of the old part of the city. The rooms and public areas were all lovely, especially the dining room, which used to be the monks’ refectory!

Historic building, great location, large room and large bathroom. Friendly, easy going staff. Nice pool (indoor in a separate building, easy to access). Incredible church next to it which is well worth spending time in. Dining room is fabulous - do not miss having a breakfast or dinner there just to see it.
